Hi, my name is Patty, I have been a COTA since 2015. I graduated from Keiser University in Miami, FL. My professors always told me that I would be in Pediatrics and that’s where I have been ever since I graduated. I am extremely passionate, creative and love to make a difference in their lives. A little bit about me: I am originally from Poland and I do speak Polish. I’m married with 3 beautiful kids. My favorite hobbies are going to the beach, taking photographs, watching tv shows or movies, trying new foods and traveling. My biggest hope is to one day learn ASL fluently

Lissette Sanchez is a COTA who has been with the occupational therapy team at Homegrown Therapy since it opened in 2022. She graduated from Keiser University in 2021. She is originally from Long Island, NY where she had the opportunity to learn and be a part of a community of variable cultures. Stemming from this experience gave rise to her interest in making an impact in the community, particularly children with challenges. Occupational therapy provided an opportunity to develop new ways of helping children reach their full potential.

When she is not devoting her time helping the children in the community, Lissette enjoys trying new restaurants with family and friends. Her favorite holiday is Christmas. Listening to music, trying new recipes, and watching The Hallmark Channel with her dog is her favorite past time. She has a passion for dogs and horses and hopes to be able to incorporate that into therapy one day.

Lissette enjoys working with the pediatric population because “the children humble you and are always proud of their achievements”.
